Return & Cancellation Policy
1. Standard Returns (Within 30 Days)
Piedmont Technical Sales accepts returns or exchanges within 30 days of the purchase date for items that are in new, unused, and resalable condition. This includes original packaging, documentation, and all components. A 20% restocking fee applies to standard website orders. Restocking fees for other order types may vary and will be confirmed at the time of return approval.
Custom-built or special-order items are not eligible for return or cancellation.
2. Returns After 30 Days
Returns requested after 30 days may be accepted at our discretion and are typically subject to a minimum 35% restocking fee. Some items may no longer be eligible for return. For non-standard or special items, return acceptance and fees are based on the manufacturer’s policies.
3. How to Request a Return
All returns require prior authorization. Please call (704) 519-4661 to request a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) before sending any items back.
- Returns without an authorized RGA number will be refused.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
4. Cancellations
Orders may be canceled before processing or shipment without penalty. Once processed or shipped, cancellations may incur fees. Custom or special-order items may be subject to

Items classified as custom, special-order, built-to-spec, or not typically stocked are non-cancelable and non-returnable in accordance with manufacturer terms.
6. Inspection and Condition
Returned items must be in unused, like-new condition with all original components and packaging intact. Our warehouse team inspects all returns and reserves the right to deny credit or apply additional restocking fees if items are damaged or incomplete.
7. Shipping Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for return shipping charges. Products sent back without authorization will be refused or returned at the sender’s expense.
8. Manufacturer Warranty
Piedmont Technical Sales honors all standard manufacturer warranties, typically valid for one year. Warranty coverage varies by product. Warranty returns must be in unused condition and original packaging. Modified or damaged items are not eligible.
9. Return Timeline & Damage Claims
Inspect deliveries promptly. Report any shipping damage or discrepancies within 3 business days. Warranty claims should be initiated within 15 days of identifying an issue.
