The DESTACO Robohand RPC-368M-V is a high-force, three-jaw pneumatic parallel gripper designed to self-center large or heavy round parts. This metric RPC Series gripper delivers 13,345 N (3,000 lbf) of total rated grip force at 100 psi, with 34.9 mm (1.38 in) of total jaw stroke.
Unlike the standard RPC-368M, the RPC-368M-V is equipped with Viton seals. These seals provide a published operating temperature range of -30°C to 150°C (-20°F to 300°F), making this configuration suitable for applications requiring the temperature capability or material compatibility of Viton.

Can the RPC-368M-V Replace the RPC-368M?
The RPC-368M-V can be used in place of the standard RPC-368M when Viton seal material is appropriate for the application. Both models use the same metric RPC-368 gripper platform and share the same mounting dimensions, grip force, jaw stroke, operating-pressure range and load capacities. The “V” suffix identifies the Viton seal configuration; the standard RPC-368M uses Buna-N seals.
Because seal compatibility can depend on temperature, lubricants, chemicals and other environmental conditions, confirm that Viton is appropriate for the application before substituting it for the standard model.
